Remarks: For a very brief while in early 2003, WC power became an almost daily occurence on NS manifest train #175. Apparently CN must've owed NS a lot of horsepower hours and was paying them off with their "junk" power (much to our delight!). At 12:40pm on Friday, January 24, 2003, southbound manifest train #175 has WC SD45s #7498 and #6583, CN SD40-2 #6125, with GTW GP38-2 #5832 in charge as it glides through the milepost 79.7H grade crossing in Rome, Georgia, on NS's Atlanta North District. This is one of the most "exotic" locomotive consists that I've ever been fortunate enough to capture on video in Georgia.
Exotic power, foreign power, what ever you call it, but who could not enjoy it. This is excellent. SD45's and CNR in areas not normal for the power. Really good video.
