Hey cool vid. I was wondering if the engineer was flashing his headlights at you "hi" from 2:40- about 2:48? or is that a artifact from the video encoding? Just curious. Cheers!
From 2:40-2:48 is the "flashing of the ditch lights." This is something on the eastern roads, started by Conrail, to raise attention to an oncoming train at crossings to try and avoid grade crossing incidents.
