Remarks: As described in the video, this is an incredible rare daylight move over abysmal trackage to serve a cement plant on the James River near downtown Richmond. I was excited to finally capture it in daylight, and certainly did not plan on the added interest of a buffon seeming to insist that his work was more important than that of the CSX crew. Aside from this foolishness, this is a unique bit of street running, awful track, and switching.
Not at all shocking that some highly educated but still VERY STUPID yuppie who lives in one of those expensive condos would essentially say to the train crew "how dare you interupt our marathon with your work?". Well, let him get the hell out of the way for ten seconds.

Some yuppies, while financially successful and supposedly highly educated, can be REALLY STUPID. Tell him to get the hell out of the way and tell the organizers of the marathon (especailly that woman) you are on public property and if they don't like your being there to call a cop.
Thanks for taking the time to post the clip. Seems that 'stupidity' is not a personality trait limited to Australians - this sort of apathy is not unique to the US and whilst we no longer have the sort of private industrial trackage that you have (we do have the same abysmal track) I have seen similiar incidents on that trackage that we still retain here in Melbourne. thanks again

I can't believe that the train crew had to stop and tell him to move! I would have laid on the horn until he was deaf!
