That couple is pretty stupid crossing the tracks like that. |

Because they couldn't see if there was a northbound on the other track? Otherwise, crossing there is commonplace. There are wooden crossing spots like that all through town, and much of the station parking is on the other side of the tracks. |

You can't see it on this video... but from previous videos I have seen, there are a couple of platforms in front of that train station that allow pedestrians to cross to the other side. Notice the gentleman is pulling her suitcase on wheels without any real issues. |

cabman's got it; the pedestrian crossing the couple is on is just out of frame to the bottom. If you look just beyond the England Street crossing at the end of the clip (behind the traffic), you can make out one of the other walkways. They are spaced throughout the town all the way from Vaughan Road to Ashcake Road. |

Regardless. I love the footage. A classic! A couple re-united at the train station - timeless. Well done Dave. |

Thanks Kevin. The funny thing is though, this was not actually the shot I was aiming for; my initial reaction was to cringe when they stepped in front of the camera. It wasn't until I looked at it later that it appeared to be such a nice bit of human interest. |
