Remarks: There really wasn’t enough light left by 8:20 that evening to be shooting tape, but the passage of this westbound with ex-DT&I 206 on the point turned out to be the most thrilling of the day. A perusal of Kent Nelson’s videos reveals that this is not an isolated event. The one second of missing sound was necessitated by an infelicitous outburst, but aficionados of diamond clatter will no doubt appreciate the rhythm of the LPG tank cars.
