Remarks: On an unusual cold May afternoon, clouds are rolling in and snow begins to fall as BNSF 7555, 7269, 7310, & 7794 pull the large Intermodal consist down the hill into Flagstaff.. It comes to a stop on the main line for 5 minutes.. I quickly cross to the other side for another prospective, just in time for it to continue on its way. By then the snow was really coming down ! and my hands were numb ! lol

Let me rephrase that .." I quickly cross to the other side using the foot tunnel ( on the left of the screen ) to get another prospective ". Thats what makes this spot nice for Rail fanning .. Its next to a popular hiking trail and it has a tunnel so you can quickly get to both sides of the main line.

Great video you got there. How long did you have to wait to see a train come by? My Fiance' and myself normally go down to Maricopa for the UP but not have had any luck lately. ;-)

Hey Jeffery , Usually up in Flag not to long.. every 15-30 mins there's an east or west bound. Maricopa on the other hand, stopped by Maricopa 2 times in the last 2 months and had pretty good luck . I really need to get a scanner and learn how to use it. Thanks ! Chuck
