With regard to the comment about 6900 smoking like a steamer. Correct me if I'm wrong but it appears to me that 'smoke' is really steam being released from a steam generator located in the rear of the E8.

I don't know but I love that style engine. Is it 1950's? Looks like those cars need some restoration though.
