Remarks: SP 4449 is just a few miles out of La Crescent, MN on the return portion of a fall color excursion between that city and St. Paul. 4449 is substituting for MILW 261. The track follows the Mississippi quite closely at this and many other points on the journey, making for lots of scenic curves.
