Remarks: Amtrak's Northeast Regional 66 had no trouble making its stop at Ashland on October 3rd, but as it started moving again the engineer hit the brakes just before the College Avenue crossing. After a brief pause they got underway again. this time with confidence.
Looks like the gates were on the way back up as he started up, so he stopped until they came back down.

Seems to me that the crossing gates were not down, that might be the reason for the 2nd stop. Also I noticed the the markers on the head end of the engine were on. let me know if you agree.
