Remarks: The morning shift concludes, viewed this time at Empire Junction wye. Scene 1: The 7 Weigher comes around the CN leg of the wye with Tilden ore loads to deliver for interchange at Partridge siding, lead by U30Cs 3009 & 3008. Scene 2: Having finished their work at Tilden mine, the 7 Yard job runs light back to Eagle Mills with C30-7 3071 & U30C 3006. Scene 3: After spotting the loads for CN, the Weigher job comes back around the wye to the LS&I main and heads to Eagle Mills to tie up for the day. The 3009 is one of a few units that LS&I repainted back into the Burlington Northern colors again, with an LS&I herald on the cab and a large BN style number on the long hood.
