Remarks: The lead unit on train 169 this day was a former Southern SD40-2 followed by 2 former N&W units, a high nose SD40 and a low nose SD40-2. Another former Southern SD40-2 was running in the mid train position.
Wow, great video! Its funny because the high nose SD40-2 (1631) is now working remote operations in Linwood Yard. I guess some engines never leave the line!

Thanks, I appreciate your comment David B! Just to clarify, the second unit's number is actually 1621 (an SD40). The uploaded version is not quite as clear as the original tape, where the unit number is a lot easier to see. Thanks to everyone for watching. Greg Ropp

Being from Oregon. I liked seeing that City of Prineville boxcar. It's second back from that DPU.
Great stuff. I have fond memories of riding through Spartanburg on a couple of the steam excursions in the early '90s. I only ever got to videotape one though, and it was overcast and drizzly the entire trip.
