Remarks: The switch heaters are working overtime trying to keep the points clear after an ice storm in northern New Jersey. We then move to summer time as we watch a trio of Erie Lackawanna GP7's come west to the juction, then heat east to Paterson to drop off cars and switch. The 3rd clip is Conrail 3194 east bound. This is some footage from 8mm sound film, so the quality is not the best. Thanks for watching.

Wow, look at those trailers in the second to last clip! Always love seeing these old films!

Jack: I agree with Mr. Tops, these old films are a joy to watch. Thank you for a bicentennial view of the Erie Lackawana. No apologies required in regard to the 8mm sound film quality. After 33 years, your northern New Jersey snipet of history is a wonderful addition to this database! Gregory

Seeing those trailers rocking and rolling certainly made me feel uneasy at marker 2:53.Any faster and they looked like they could topple over. Great old footage,I would certainly love too see more.
