Remarks: As if getting dusted by the coal train that passed minutes before wasn't enough, hot on its tail was a loaded trash train, led by ES44DC 5435 and SD50-2 8548. The coal train was held at a signal somewhere south of town, with its tail just visible from the station. To pile on more railfanning misfortune, it was the hottest part of the day, and the trash train was held at Vaughan Road until the coal train got out of the way, at which point the trash train crawled slowly past our vantage point to maximize the effect of its - ahem - DELICATE fragrance.
