Remarks: As the boarded-up hulk of AR Tower stands sentinel in the background, an eastbound NS freight begins its careful descent to Altoona behind C40-9W 9336, C40-9W 9175, and SD40-2 3364 on October 11, 2008. Helping out with braking from the rear are SD40-2s 3427 and still-blue 3338.
