Remarks: Up close and personal with a Loram Rail Grinder on the NS Harrisburg mainline in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania. I set up the camera and backed way off as it passed by. Some of the dangers of flying sparks are quite evident.

I was at Horseshoe Curve when it was still Conrail and they started the whole mountain on fire with the rail grinder, they closed off the Visitor's Center and we relocated to Galitzen, it was a great shot of the situation. I should dig up the videos from that.

Saw this train pass by my home last night. Could not figure what kind of train it was. In the morning when I was going to work, it had stationed it self about a mile from the road I take to get the freeway. I drove down the road to take a look at it. This train, you got to see it to believe it!. It was awesome just looking at it at night! I looked up the name Loram and found out what kind of train it is. Glad I had the chance to see this rare train! This was at San Antonio, New Mexico. Home of the best green chili cheese burgers!
