Remarks: ES44DC 5273, C40-8W 7814, and C40-8 7515 cross Ashcake Road as they head north into Ashland with general merchandise on April 18th. There were more than a few interesting cars in the consist - An Apalachicola Northern boxcar, a heavily weathered C&NW covered hopper, and no less than 25 woodchip cars still proudly proclaiming their service for the Seaboard Coast Line on their flanks. Finally, watch 3 cars back from the locos for a hopper wearing a C&O logo and a CSX number stencil, with the reporting marks restenciled (the original ampersand was intact), forgoing a complete 'CSXT' re-do.

Hi Dave: I love this video because of the way you slowly panned the camera "through" the advancing cars, and the way the pick-up microphone on the camera changed the audio volume during the pan. Great job and keep up the good videography! Gregory

Thanks Gregory. I switched to a new tripod kit back in February (Manfrotto 190XB legs/701HDV head) and can't say enough good things about it and the difference it's made. Glad you enjoyed the clip.
