Spare me the melodrama. There was a 10 second gap and the train was only traveling at a brisk walking pace. And the so called stupid drivers weren't trying to beat the train, they did beat it with plenty of time to spare. I'm a locomotive driver and I know what a near miss looks like and it doesn't look like this.

I agree with Rob. As being an engineer in an industrial switching operation, I put up with this a lot. This is no near miss.
