Remarks: Southbound TTI throttles up as it heads back to Paris, KY with 6 U28B GE's near Millersburg, Ky. with a empty coal train. Nothing like the sound of 6 U28's chopping away up a grade.

Yes they do have a unique sound. Kind of reminds me of the old Alco RS11's that aren't on steriods, little less smoke, little less growl. lol...

Nice footage. I wonder if TTI still has any of those old beasts in service. The video "U-Boat Survivors" has some great TTI U28B action as well.

Ohhhh Kent! I love the sound of an ALCO, but this is second on my list. Nothing sounds as good as the U25B in the GE family. Thanks for sharing. Take care, Jackmp294...
