Remarks:1.The first revenue run of the ACES crosses the Delaware River at Trenton, NJ on Feb. 6. 2. The first revenue southbound ACES train meets a northbound Amtrak regional by Nassau Tower at Princeton Junction on the NEC. 3. On Feb. 7, the morning eastbound passes the ex-PRSL station at Berlin on the ACL. 4. A westbound flies over the SRNJ line at Winslow Jct. with MLW M420 SRNJ 3519 in the foreground. 5. Just after sunset, an eastbound races towards Atlantic City through Hammonton. 6. The morning eastbound passes through Levittown station on Valentine's Day.
Andrew, this is an awesome video. It provided me with a great idea for my N scale layout. Running trains with one diesel on one end and w/ an electric on the other makes a lot of sense and I had no idea it was prototypical. Thanks for sharing.
I too had no idea that running a diesel on one end and an ALP on the other was prototypical. Although from looking at the video, it did not appear to me that the pantograph was in the raised position when the train was running under the wire at Princeton NJ. Anyway, it's a very nice trainset . . . .one I'm looking forward to modeling as well.
