Remarks: Last fall's stunning colors at this location are long gone as NS 68Q ethanol train makes its way up the West Slope through the town of Lilly on this gray February day. Toward the end of the video, NS 68Q passes the westbound NS 28Z in emergency stop. A bad hose and broken knuckle caused problems for the 28Z.

Wow! That's enough alcohol to land 100 people in the drunk tank for a year! Just a little humor. What impresses me about this train is the amount of power required to haul it. Seven engines going full tilt. Three pull, four push. Must be a full load going uphill. Nice piece of videp!

Very impressive, I am guess some where between 65-70 ethanol cars, if I am getting my math correct each 30K ethanol car must car 250,00lbs of ethanol, plus the weight of the car, that is some serious load.
