Cannot Display High Quality Video

Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.

Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.

Remarks: Amtrak's Piedmont service is back to normal after unit 1755 was involved in a grade crossing accident in Harrisburg, NC on Feb 4. Unit 1797 has taken over the duty of transporting passengers to and from Raleigh and Charlotte, NC. We see the train departing Greensboro in the first clip. Next we move east out the H Line and catch Amtrak 80 breezing through Gibsonville, NC. On the opposite side of the tracks is the "Gibsonville Caboose", a Southern bay window unit open to the public.

Unfortunately, it will never be normal for that engineer.

The 2nd part of that video really shows how the public can mis-judge the speed of trains at a crossing. All you can see at the start is a blip, then before you know it, the train is right there!

Is he going about 70mph or even more!
