Remarks: We start with a southbound TOFC heading into Pomona Yard to swap out some cars. Next, A northbound unit gondola train rumbles by. We move south to the Hilltop Rd. crossing where a very late Carolinian heads past the scrap yards. Then, the same SB TOFC from earlier blasts up the grade continuing to Linwood.

Nice first post. Really tells a story. What was the noise around 2:50 in

Thanks for the comment! The noise is the scrap yard, more specifically a compactor used to make square bales of metal.

I think that is some sound from the scrap yard across the tracks.

Notice all the work around the mainline. This soon will be double track thanks to Amtrak. New 10 mile segment from interlocking at Cox to interlocking at Hoskins NC.

Very nice for your first submission. I like the composition of the detailed topography of the railroad. Nice to see that the double-tracking is coming along nicely. I haven't operated a train through this area since '05 and it's nice to see places that I've been. Thanks for sharing and I'm looking forward to more.

Nice 1st upload. I like the long S-curve with the strong zoom, then transitioning to the wider angle. Good work.
