Remarks: VIDEO TAKEN ON DEC. 13TH, 2008. DATE IN VIDEO IS INCORRECT. During the month of December, the Wilmington & Western runs thier annual Santa Trains through the Red Clay Valley. Santa climbs aboard the train, as he continues his journey by rail; he really gets around, doesn't he? Remember, he knows if you've been naughty or nice, and if you've been naughty, then Santa may come up to the engine and get some more coal! So sit back, enjoy the ride, and be good for goodness sake.

Is the diesel on the end of the train doing anything? Or is it there for the return trip?

Posted by Adam Christman (Penn Rail Videos) on December 17, 2008

It's the for the trip back. Check out http://www.rail-videos.net/video/view.php?id=4439 for footage of that engine.
