Remarks: The Ringling "Blue Unit" Circus train is headed back to Florida for the winter before beginning another year of fun next spring. At 61 cars, this is the longest circus train to grace the rails of CSX's Fitzgerald Subdivision to date.
Ringling has two trains used to tour the west/east coasts each year; the "Blue" and "Red" Units which run with 50+ cars each. The Gold unit, which is smaller in size, uses trucks. Everything is based out of Florida, and both trains come through the area I live in on their way in/out of the Southeast. And they do a good job of turning the heads of motorists stopped at crossings!

There is a lot more than the eyes see in putting on a circus. Thanks for the perspective.
