Remarks: Ugly? Some say, though the paint scheme highly reflects the VALE's symbol. 10 new BB44EM locomotives on temporary C trucks are led east on the Harrisburg Line by an NS GEVO. The flat cars on the rear hold two four-axle B+B-B+B trucks.

Here in Brazil most of the railfans not like this new paint scheme and new logo. Everybody is thinking extremely ugly, horrible and poor that new paint scheme. The brown and white reflected much more the face of the company and its tradition of more than 100 years. Here in Brazil we are trying to register the most of the locomotives and wagons with the painting of CVRD, is a race against the time! I hope they go back and again be as it was before! Even the employees agreed with that change. Anyway thaks for posting!

How GE isn't exporting the new GEVO's?

Posted by Kent Nelson on November 19, 2008

That's a couple of great videos that you have of the export GE's Eric. It's nice to see something that we know that we probably won't ever see again. Thanks for sharing.

They are actually ES58ACMi locomotives!

The same for me.. Myself I definitly prefer the previous EFVM paintscheme. If I were to model this amazing railroad, it would be of course with the previous paintscheme.

Nice job and great catch. That paint makes me think of a bottle of mouthwash; don't know why.
