Remarks: As a tribute for veterans for Veteran's Day, the Strasburg Railroad ran its annual "Troops and Trains" event. This outing finds an extra troop train, with several of the railroad's finely restored freight cars added to make a mixed train. The regular hourly train runs as normal.
For this year, ex-N&W 4-8-0 475 was in charge of an eight car train, but the real impressive twist was ex-CNR 0-6-0 7312 leading a ten car long mixed train.
