Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.
Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.
Remarks: The old NYC cantilevers were still plentiful in South Bend in the early 90's. Including the signal from where the video was taken, there are 5 cantilevers along this stretch of track. More a couple miles west of this location. Today only 2 remain in South Bend and one of them is not in use. A pair of B23-7's head west through the old track alignment.
Don't try this at home kids! Trespassing on railroad signal bridges is not only dangerous and in very poor taste, it's also illegal! Railfan safely and responsibly.
