Remarks: This is a one of a kind locomotive. It is owned by the Southern Michigan Railroad Society. The line runs from Clinton to Raisin Center, Michigan. The engine is a diesel hydraulic. it's powered by GM Bus Engine that produces about 280 HP.
What a unique critter. Listening to it at first before reading the remarks I wondered what was wrong with prime mover, but once I read that it has a bus engine in it, I recognized the sounds of a well running Detroit Diesel. I noticed the train was being pulled by a GE centercab. Good video work.

I like this little critter. The body style reminds me of the GM Aerotrain of the mid-50's.
