Remarks: In this early CSX action, four CSX SD40-2's are lugging a loaded coal train through the Appalachian Mountains. The engines are pulling hard to keep this heavy train rolling. The first shot shows the train exiting a cut just south of Spruce Pine, NC. The second shot shows the train coming out of Vance tunnel at Altapass, NC.

Even though I like the new GEVOs we are getting because they are quiet and comfortable, there is something to be said about 4 SD40-2s on a coal train. Thanks for posting that!
