Adam-
Another place you could try that's almost exactly like this (except with the flat Florida-Georgia landscape) is the Roadmaster's Lodge at Folkston, Georgia. Judging by your reputation, I would guess you have been there before, but I highly recommend the RL. It also has a back porch facing the tracks!

Hey Folkstonguy, I've been to Folkston before and trust me, Adam, it's a nice place to be watching high speed CSX and Amtrak trains race southbound into the sunshine state first thing in the morning! |

I never stayed at Tunnel Inn, but I hear it is a nice place. I always book at the Comfort Inn in Ducansville (cheap rates). I love the footage, especially 502, that was a nice treat catching 8310. Fabulous K5LA on 2508, and well as the P5 on the last helper set! |
