Remarks: It's hard to believe this was six years ago already, but here's the train Union Pacific sent to Salt Lake City to the Olympic Village for the 2002 Winter Olympics. First you'll see it meeting an eastbound freight between Ames and North Bend. Then it had to wait out some congestion east of Schuyler, so I was able to get ahead of it and catch the westbound stack train in front of it and another eastbound freight that cleared in time to get another good look at the special train.
