Remarks: VIA 79 passes over Manning Road at about 90 mph. I have been meaning to get a train here for a while since they redid the crossing, and on my way home from a friends place, I seen the head light in the distance. So I pulled into a parking lot next to the tracks and set up.

Yes, the VIA trains at this level crossing are about five miles from the Walkerville Station and are travelling at speeds of 140 km/hr. It's too bad that people don't realize this and during any given year there is at least one fatality somewhere along the way to Toronto. It doesn't sound good but people have to Stop, Look Listen. Thanks to Mofo6429 for the vid.
