Thanks for the memories. Note many of tne BN E units were sent for rebuilding at Morrison Knudsen in Boise, ID in the early 1970's. Among the many upgrades, 645 power assemblies were installed.
This was my first place I went to in 1978 it was very high speed,and smooth. it was how people did not watch when they would cross the tracks, that caught my attention! Lowell did a fine job.

I was 8 years old and went to the EMD Celebrations. I remember those engines fondly and hence my handle bn9900. I used to hang out at Stone Ave station 1 stop west of la Grange Road. Thanks for the memories.
