Remarks: While still rounding the curve at Cassandra in the distance, the eastbound Y90 approaches the old signal bridge at Lilly, PA, on Track 1. With D8-40CW, NS 8354 and SD60I NS 6728 (in Conrail blue) as front end power, the extra push on the rear is supplied by a "four pack" of SD40-2 helpers

Great video Joe! I miss the chaos the coal drags cause on this stretch - Portage to Cresson! Total Mayhem!

Great video! I could practically feel the ground shaking when the SD40s went by!

A thoroughly majestic scene showing the Norfolk Southern and EMD at their best. I watched it with my son ten times. Thank you for sharing it Joseph.

Thanks for your kind comment, John. I'm glad you and your son enjoyed watching it as much as I enjoyed making it.

Lily is a place I try to get to for a few hours of action. I like the PRR atmosphere there. The road bridge in the distance is a bit far from the signal bridge, but on a hot day the shade is nice. The people there are almost always reasonable about railfans parking in their town and drinking in the action.
