Very enjoyable video. These units have a deep but quiet sound to them. Thanks for sharing!

Excellent video, Jeff! I really liked the "Tunnel Effect" scene. Those big EMD's sure have a beautiful sound. Thanks for sharing.

8) This is the best sound video I've seen, of the SD90-H

Boy those things chug just like a GE! This nice, pure SD90H video is the only one that allows one to hear the EMD 4-stroke sound, separate from the GE. Thanks for sharing!

My first SD-90 experience, I worked at CSX for 36 years and never saw one. It's so unique to listen to the 4-stroke sound in an EMD locomotive. I wonder if they all had a lot smoke as these two.

The 8531 was the only unit running for the first half of the video. Most of what appears to be smoke in the tunnel scene is actually steam. The 8531 had a leaking cylinder head and eventually blew all of the water out the stack, shutting down around Edinau. The MACs are now history on the B&P. Great video.

Great 4-cycle sound coming from an EMD...very unusual. NICE job Jeff.

It grat to get a clear video of a SD90 with the 6000 hp 4 stoke engine. To bad all SD90s engines was down graded to 16 710s. Also to be EMD never made a SD100AC-H, with a V-20 version of the 4 stoke engine, because it would be a beast :<).
