Nice clip! Love ones with the crossing lights in them. Why was the train running slow? It seems like that track could handle 25-30MPH trains.

That pickup that ran the crossing should have gotten a ticket. When the lights are flashing, the road is closed, until the lights quit flashing, no matter if there is a train coming or not. That stuff makes me really mad. Nice video by the way ;)
Actually, a railway crossing with lights and bells is equivalent to a stop sign when it's operating. You stop, and if there is time for you to safely pass you can go. It's only crossings with lights, bells, AND gates where you must stop and wait. They're equivalent to a red traffic light. Crossings with crossbucks only are equivalent to a yield sign, although it seems there are more and more that have stop signs below the crossbucks.
