Remarks: Union Pacific local mixed freight heading southward at track speed along the UP DeSoto Sub on a mild early April afternoon. The GP 38-2 was really smoking it up as he blasted his way through the area!!

A lot of that blue smoke is unburnt diesel fuel.I think a few adjustments on the injectors needs attention.That is a lot of money being lost per mile.The black is just carbon buildup and blows out as they power up.It is the blue that would worry me.

Except for the extra smoke it was a nice throttle up. Picked up speed all through the video. Nice catch.
