I can understand #142 getting assistance from one diesel, but why three???

Video is excellent, but what's the purpose of having a steam excursion if you feel the need to add diesels to the lash up? Defeats the purpose, and certainly the authenticity.

2 1/2% grade for about 20 miles out of the city is the need for the diesels
