Kent, you always do a great job capturing these excellent looking trains. Check out the number of domes on this one. Almost looks like VIA's Canadian, except for the colour. Excellent work.

Another winner, Kent. Thanks for sharing.

They are really wonderful, in every way, the E9:s. Thank you very much Kent for these scenes! It sounds like two EMD 12-567C:s per unit, but, somebody has told me that the preservated UP E9:s are rebuilt and that the three locomotives two 12-567C diesels are replaced with one 645 diesel. Somebody that can tell me? Please answer: bengt.spade@telia.com

Hello, thanks for the comments on this video. The info is correct on the single 645. These units were rebuilt to GP38-2 status. With the duel exaust on the one engine they still sound like 567's. Thanks for looking. Kent

What a throwback to the 50s.

I wish that locomotives were still made like that they just look so much better too me then the loco's that are used today.

Classic. I always thought that the nicest apint schemes for passenger locomotives were UP Yellow, NYC lightening stripes and CNR's original green, gold & black....CPR's gray & maroon wasn't too shabby either.

You gotta admit Stan,The Pennsy locomotives looked pretty sweet too.
