They are really wonderful, in every way, the E9:s. Thank you very much Kent for these scenes! It sounds like two EMD 12-567C:s per unit, but, somebody has told me that the preservated UP E9:s are rebuilt and that the three locomotives two 12-567C diesels are replaced with one 645 diesel. Hello, thanks for the comments on this video. The info is correct on the single 645. These units were rebuilt to GP38-2 status. With the duel exaust on the one engine they still sound like 567's. Thanks for looking. Kent
I wish that locomotives were still made like that they just look so much better too me then the loco's that are used today.

Classic. I always thought that the nicest apint schemes for passenger locomotives were UP Yellow, NYC lightening stripes and CNR's original green, gold & black....CPR's gray & maroon wasn't too shabby either.
