Remarks: As three of MMA's C30-7 thundered under my feet, the engineer notched it up, giving me a welcome breath of fresh exhaust and marvelous engine sounds! Notice that each of the C30-7s has its own distinct sound. The trailing B39-8e was hitching a ride at idle.

You surely can't beat an ALCo or a GE loco for unique sounds! Great work.

Wow, the only "clean running" unit is the B39... Nothing says "working hard" like the glugging of GEs. Thanks for posting this - great shot indeed.
