Nice video and hard to believe that in these days of penny pinching corporations that a company would put in the time, money, and effort. Well done to CP , great stuff. |

You know that rule that all locomotives and cars must have reflective tape on their sides, because people couldn't see the trains in the dark? They should have lights like these instead! Nobody could miss this at a grade crossing! |

Well, I hope no one tries to beat this train and messes up the lights! I guess that's why they have no lights near the coupler area. This is an awesome video! |

Thanks for the kind comments guys. A word of advice, if you ever get a chance to see this train with your bare eyes, go for it! It's really worth it. |

This is a prime example of a company that remembers that Christmas is a time to reflect on the past yr and i'd love to this train in person. Thank you Canadian Pacific for having a true Christmas Spirit, and to you Marc for sharing this with us. |

You can't say enough about CP for doing this. They make a donation to the food bank of each town / city they stop in and the encourage everyone coming out to see the train and show to bring food items that are collected by the local organizations. I saw "opening night" in Scranton PA in 2007 and it was fantastic. The roaring container-on-flatcar w/candy canes contained the generators that powered all the lights. Excellent Video! Thank you for sharing. |

This goes to show what can be part of increasing popularity of railroading. Imagine a passenger train decked out like this and who wouldn't want to take a ride on it. My compliments to Canadian Pacific. |
