Scanton is located at milepost A 313, 20 miles south of Florence. Amongst the widecab-less consist are a couple of visitors from other railroads: KLWX 103, a road-slug, is on it's way to the Lancaster and Chester Railroad in South Carolina; and an ex-BN SW1500 in cascade green, destination unknown.
