Remarks: Every Tuesday the Minnesota Commercial runs a loaded sand train from their Midway Yard to BNSF's Dayton's Bluff Yard in St. Paul. In this video, the train is being pulled by a trio of aging units, led by a former Santa Fe SF30C. There is also a rebuilt Alco M636 (equipped with a CAT inline 8) and a GE C30-7 in the consist. The trio puts on a good show of smoke as they double up their train at Midway Yard. We also see the train at Union Junction and at 7th Street near downtown St. Paul.

Might want to step a little further away from your tripod - lots of camera clicking on an otherwise nice soundtrack.
