Due to bandwidth constraints, only members of our affordably priced RVElite subscription service may view ultra high quality videos.

Ultra high quality videos are encoded at a higher video resolution (640x480, the size of this light gray box), are sampled at bitrates of 4000+k/sec, have no compression added, and may be viewed by our valued RVElite members in full-screen mode.

Remarks: How to end a day of railfanning - the moon was on the rise at 6:14 PM as Amtrak's northbound Palmetto streaked through the Route 606 crossing in Guinea, VA with Phase II Heritage P42 66 on the point and dome-observation 'Sierra Hotel' on the marker. A couple of riders enjoyed the view from the Sierra Hotel's rear platform as the train rushed on towards Fredericksburg.

Interesting note on this car about it's name i heard at an AAPRCO convention, apparently the owner at the time was a fighter pilot in Veitnam, flying F-4's and that was his call sign "Sierra Hotel".
