Remarks: On the weekend of September 17th and 18th 1987 NS and the Bluegrass Railway Museum sponsored a round trip excursion behind the N&W 1218 to Chattanooga and return to Lexington Ky. These are clips from that weekend.

I miss the sound of N&W #1218. Hopefully if the new NS 21st Century Steam Program gets successful enough in the near future #1218 could return maybe
