Remarks: Lithgow Loco Depot (dubbed Maintenance Centre) 1886 til 2003 is now kaput due to privatization. I spent many years of my footplate career based here. Firstly an overview from Scenic Hill lookout shot in 1991 of the "back of the shed". Then, an internal view shot in 1999. Lithgow was revamped in 1980 into the most modern loco facility in NSW. Gone was the semi roundhouse, but the radial roads still remained. Today, much of the rail out the back of the shed has been lifted.
