Remarks: UP 844 made a trip from St. Louis to Cape Girardeau, MO, on June 4th for the Little Rock Express heritage tour. Accompanying the northern was the Mopac heritage unit, UP 1982. In Gorham, the train stopped for servicing and to detrain passengers. While the engine was resting a pair of freights came through Gorham. The first was a manifest behind two BNSF and one KCS GEs. Then a hot Z train swung off of the Mt. Vernon Sub and on to the Chester Sub and went south. (Also, another freight pulled up to Gorham, but it isn't included in this video). Finally, the 844 was on its way. We first see it under the signal bridge south of town. The second scene shows the locomotive creeping across the Big Muddy River bridge.
