Remarks: Utah Railway is making short work of bringing this loaded coal train up the hill with six on the lead, and six mid-train. This is the first video clip in a series of three. This clip is passing the Willow Creek mine at Castle Gate. The weather iis OK. The next clip is on ?id=974 at Kyune, and you notice its spiting snow. The third, ?id=987 is near the summit in a full blown snow storm. All this in about 25 miles.

It is sight to see 6 locomotives in the head and 6 complementing in the middle to complete the hill gradient.

Impressive. Interesting though, can't hear the turbochargers in the SD40-2s. Thanks for posting :)

WOW!!! That's an impressive sight. I've never seen that on FEC's trains. Mainly due to Florida doesn't have any steep grades. It's mostly all flat. It's cool to see. Thanks.
