Remarks: The Thursday-only running of the C&TS 'Cinder Bear' train climbs Cumbres Pass near at the Highway 17 crossing near the top of the pass. The train appeared to be quite full with many folks riding up to Cumbres for a picnic lunch before riding back down to Chama. This train departed Chama at 11am, an hour behind the standard 10am Antonito train departure which made for a busier than normal morning at the Chama yard.
