Remarks: During the mid 1990s AN began through running power on the Indian Pacific working between Adelaide SA and Sydney NSW. The Morrison Knudsen (1993) rebashed CL class units, CLP (with HEP) and CLF being utilized. This continued for a couple of years until AN was privatized. Heading back west into the sunset WL1 has three days to rattle before reaching Perth.
